Vet Techs: The Heart of Pet Wellness

October 12-18 is National Vet Tech Appreciation Week
The National Association of Veterinary Technicians of America (NAVTA), as well as veterinary technician programs across the country, are celebrating and educating the public about the value and contributions of their work. "Vet tech week provides an opportunity to honor veterinary technicians for the outstanding job they do, but it also provides NAVTA with an opportunity to educate companion animal owners about the benefits of working with a veterinarian who employs credentialed veterinary technicians—which is equally important," said Andrea Ball, NAVTA executive director. Read NAVTA's full press release and download posters to display in your school, practice and other public places to help raise public awareness and recognition of the important work that veterinary technicians do to support the health of our animals.
